Meet the team Lottie Ireland, Account Executive

TV coverage, genuine connection and in-person teams are all on Lottie’s list of favourites.

This month, we’re chatting to our wonderful Account Executive, Lottie Ireland. In Lottie’s books, nothing beats results for clients. But if a campaign provides the chance for a local area to shine too, that’s the icing on the cake – that, and a great team experience!

1) What's your proudest PR moment?

There’s been lots! A few of my favourite recent ones include working with our client BlindsbyPost on their thermal blinds. We secured 15 pieces of national coverage on the benefits of improving home insulation during the cost of living crisis. It was a great opportunity to feel like we were genuinely helping customers! Another favourite was securing a national TV broadcast opportunity with The Gadget Show, it was super exciting for the whole team to tune in and see our client on the show! I really enjoyed securing a record month of coverage for our client The Broadway in Bradford. It’s great to see so many new leases and development in the area ahead of Bradford 2025.

2) What would be your dream brand to work with?
Anyone who knows me knows that I never stop talking about food - especially great vegan food. My dream brand to work with would be foodie and exciting, something like Candy Kittens, Deliciously Ella, Misfits or Oatly. A fashion based brand would be great too - I would love to work with a pioneering vegan clothing brand like Everlane or Alohas who create amazing clothes and shoes.

3) What do you think the future of PR looks like?

I think it’s a really exciting time and future for PR with new and authentic platforms such as podcasts, Q&A’s and webinars on the rise. I think the future will be much more digital, open and connected for brands to be more authentic and gain consumer loyalty. There is a huge variety of media outlets and more interactive platforms are no longer limited to consumer-focused brands.

Increased transparency from brands is in demand as they engage with audiences through more interactive platforms, such as podcasts and Tik Tok. These are used by a huge variety of brands in PR.

4) What's the most insane thing you've ever had to do for work?

Whilst interning in PR I had some insane experiences. I worked on Paris Fashion week, Vogue shoots and The British Fashion Awards. It was crazy and exciting all at the same time!

5) What's your favourite thing about your job?

After graduating during the pandemic and being welcomed initially to only remote working jobs, my favourite thing by far would have to be the team at Lucky North. (They didn’t tell me to say that!)

It’s fantastic to work with such a varied team, from great clients to lovely colleagues. It’s been really inspiring and motivating to work alongside such a great group of people and be a part of a team who genuinely all enjoy working together and coming into the office.

6) What's your favourite word or emoji?

Word: Fab

Emoji: the little hatching chick 🐣- It’s just so cute!
