Diamik Glass

Selling a unique and sustainable product in the UK

The story

This 100% recycled and 100% unique eco-surface product is transforming material options for commercial sector design

There’s something incredibly exciting about a brand when they have a totally unique offering.

Diamik Glass is the UK’s leading manufacturer currently creating sustainable work surfaces and countertops from recycled glass. Based in Leeds, the team transforms crushed glass waste destined for landfill into something beautiful. The end product, ecorok™, is hardwearing and durable, made out of 85% recycled glass, bonded together with resin - perfect for domestic and commercial spaces including shops, bars and professional kitchens.

The business’ eco-credentials are second to none, actively removing waste from businesses and creating only 5% waste when producing their products.

With a wide range of aesthetic choices, Diamik can craft an eco-surface to suit just about any commercial project. The best thing is, nobody else is offering a product like this in the UK, and Diamik is brilliantly placed to scoop up all of the interest.

But first, the team needed to generate a buzz and excitement around the brand and its products to create it.

Our solid PR strategy was focused around growing the brand, supporting lead generation and showcasing an impressive portfolio. Though the company supplies residential projects too, the aim here was to keep a focus on the commercial sector and benefit from the enormous potential here.

Using a business story to hook the media, we targeted five press sectors including construction, architecture, commercial interior design and regional news. A mix of product education and business profiling created a balanced interest across the initial three-month period and offered us a firm foundation for future campaign success.

We’re really pleased Diamik trusted us with such an important strategy. The business has a huge opportunity to grow and we want to support it to reach its potential. As a result, we’ve proposed a full focus on content for the next quarter, to both harness the power of PR and ensure online content is working at its hardest for the business.
